Allu Arjun creates history as he is the first Telugu actor to win the prestigious National Award for best actor in the history of the Tollywood film Industry. He won the award for his brilliant performance in Pusha: The Rise.
Allu Arjun received the prestigious award from the President of India, Droupadi Murmur, at the Vigyan Bhavan. The actor shared a presentation photo and penned an emotional post after winning the national award on Twitter. He mentioned ”Honored to receive the National Award. I want to thank the jury, the ministry, and the Government of India for this recognition. This award is not only a personal milestone but belongs to all people who have supported and cherished our cinema. Thank you, Sukumar garu. You are the reason behind my achievement.”
Winning the national award for a commercial film like Pushpa: The Rise is quite commendable. The film is directed by Sukumar and is commercially and critically successful. Allu Arjun will also star in the much-awaited sequel, Pushpa: The Rule. The film is scheduled to be released on 15th August 2024.
