Akshay Kumar Steps into the Courtroom for Jolly LLB 3

Seven years following the release of “Jolly LLB 2,” Akshay Kumar is set to propel the franchise forward with its third installment, “Jolly LLB 3.” Joining him in this courtroom comedy are Arshad Warsi and Huma Qureshi. The shooting for the film kicked off with Arshad Warsi in Rajasthan over the last weekend (April 29), followed by Akshay Kumar joining the crew shortly after. Notably, Akshay and Arshad’s characters will assume the roles of rivals in the movie.

Jollu LLB 3 Latest Updates

Dishing out details about the inaugural schedule of “Jolly LLB 3,” a source revealed to Mid-Day, “The first schedule will be 15-20 days long. Huma Qureshi is reprising her role as Akshay’s wife. She was filming ‘Gulabi’ in Ahmedabad until last week and joined this project soon after.” Following the Rajasthan stint, the “Jolly LLB 3” team is slated to head to Delhi for the next leg of shooting.

“The shoot in the national Capital will go on for 30-40 days from June to July and it will cover various parts of the city,” a source disclosed to Hindustan Times. According to media reports, both outdoor and indoor shoots are planned in proximity to the Tees Hazari court area.

While “Jolly LLB 3” will be lensed in multiple states, the majority of scenes are earmarked for Delhi. Earlier speculations hinted at possible postponements or cancellations of the shoot due to the scorching heat, but these rumors have been debunked.

Akshay Kumar To Produce The Movie

Meanwhile, “Jolly LLB 3” will be co-produced by Disney and Cape of Good Films, Akshay’s production banner. The highly-anticipated third installment promises an intense face-off between the two Jollys, with the film slated for release in cinemas next year (2025).

Turning to Akshay’s packed schedule, the actor has a slew of releases lined up for the current year. Following the underwhelming performance of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” he is set to grace the silver screen with “Welcome To The Jungle,” “Sarfira,” and “Sky Force.” Notably, his Eid release, “BMCM,” clashed with Ajay Devgn’s “Maidaan” but failed to make a significant mark at the box office.
