Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff were in Lucknow ahead of the release of their upcoming film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. During the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan event, Uttar Pradesh police lathi-charged a frenzied crowd at an event featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in Lucknow.
A massive 20,000-strong crowd gathered in Lucknow for the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan promo, where the magic of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff unfolded, creating a Bollywood promotion like never before. Unsurprisingly, fans thronged to the venue to catch a glimpse of their favourite star.
However, in a video shared online, the gathering soon took a dark turn. Fans were seen throwing chappals in the crowd, and a stampede almost broke out. The energy soared, prompting the police to gently step in and manage the excited fans. They stopped the crowd from misbehaving and brought the situation under control.
Akshay and Tiger were at a safe distance from the mob. Several slippers were scattered on the ground amidst the commotion. Once the situation was under control, the promotional activities resumed, allowing fans to interact with their favourite stars.
Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment present the film in association with AAZ Films. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, it is slated to release on Eid.
