Akhil Akkineni, who scored his first decent hit with Most Eligible Bachelor, is all set with his next film, Agent. Pinning many hopes on the film to bag the second hit in a row, the actor has undergone a massive makeover for this ambitious project helmed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakkantham Vamsi.
While two release dates were announced for Agent – August 2022 and then Sankranthi 2023, the team decided to postpone the release owing to a few delays. Now, the makers have finally revealed another date.
On New Year’s day, the makers announced that the film would release in April 2023 across five languages – Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Also, a glimpse was launched, showcasing the scale and generosity of the film featuring a ferocious Akhil Akkineni.
The nail-biting thriller is financed under the banner of renowned AK Entertainments together with Surender 2 Cinema. A big role has been cast for Malayalam superstar Mammootty in Akhil Akkineni’s next, and newcomer Sakshi Vaidya will play the female lead in Agent.
