Adipurush chaos continues: Police registered a case – What’s happening?

Adipurush just released yesterday on June 16th and the movie is so great that there’s at least a thousand memes on it so far. “Saif Ali Khan’s python massage by professional Om Raut” are the kind of captions we’re getting to see all over Twitter. It’s causing a catastrophe online and offline. Online, everyone has roasted Adipurush to the point it’s now like barbequed chicken. Offline, some obsessed fans of Prabhas and Ramayana are breaking theatres, getting into physical fights, damaging property. In the next 30 days, the theatres will be in a pitiful condition if this trend continues.

Today, in a theatre in Telangana, there was a delay in screening by 40 minutes, reportedly because of an issue with the sound system. Fans started smashing objects against the glass wall and breaking it while others were spotted chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’. Seems like the insanity in the VFX team’s minds is now teleported into the fans. Every hour, there’s news about the chaos Adipurush is creating. Clearly, it is a catastrophe in disguise. Theatres are going to bear more costs for repairing the premises than they earned from the tickets.

On the other side, director Om Raut has managed to pocket half the movie’s cost in just one day of screenplay. Yes, three hundred crores. What a waste. Instead, they should’ve re-released older versions of Ramayana that are works of art and finesse. Unfortunately, the sole goal of movies has become money. The entertainment industry has stopped considering the quality of films.

About the rage, a police case has been registered and investigation about the same will be done soon. Good luck to the police of India, the beginning of ‘Adipurush cases’ has crossed the threshold of the police station entrance.
