Adah Sharma who is famous in Tollywood and Bollywood is all ready with her upcoming film, ‘The Kerala Story’. The film is written and directed by Sudipto Sen. It is based on a true story and is a controversial story. The teaser was released five months back and it was received by the majority of the audience because of the guts of the director to make this kind of film, which would showcase the truth to the people.
The story is about thousands of girls from Kerala being converted to Islam for recruitment to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Adah Sharma plays the role of one of these girls who has been forced to convert and join ISIS. She tells that her name was Shalini and today she is Fatima. She tells about how this takes place. One user commented that he is from Kerala himself and that whatever is shown in the teaser is real and that he is happy to see that films are being made on this subject on a public platform which would increase social awareness among people and know the reality.
Adah Sharma took her Instagram to announce the release of the film, which is on 5th May 2023. She further added, ‘Time to uncover the Hidden Truth, of the biggest Invisible Threat to our Daughters. #TheKeralaStory It is Time to #SaveOurDaughters.’ The teaser looks very intriguing and promising.
