Who knew people’s response about Adah Sharma will go from ‘Who’s that?’ to ‘Oh, her!’ with a single ‘yes’ to a movie? Life really unfolds in ways we least expect it to. Internet sensation Adah Sharma‘s treasure box opened with The Kerala Story on May 5th, 2023 and it isn’t planning to close anytime soon. It’s been more than a month and she’s still enjoying the success of this Earth-shattering movie.
Bollywood director Sudipto Sen‘s decision of starring Adah has opened more doors for her than he can imagine. Sharma recently got another opportunity to showcase her veiled, undervalued skills as a female superhero in an international film. We saw it coming, didn’t we? The art of secrecy is the entry gate to anticipation. Adah left us half done with just this one detail! The rest? We don’t know when she’ll reveal it. She drops, “I’ve always found female superheroes very cool and all I can say is yes I’m playing one now and I can’t wait to share more stuff about it soon. Action is a genre I really enjoy being part of. I like to try different genres, varied roles and I’m lucky people are thinking of me for different characters. After The Kerala Story, I thought this would be very different. I like to talk about a project only when I come out with a trailer for it. Until then, I’m a little superstitious. To see Adah on the opposite side of the spectrum is a pleasant visualization in itself. Where she was found handcuffed in the interrogation room as a criminal, she’ll now appear as the protagonist.
