Finally, the release date of August 18 has been fixed by the crew.
Directed by R Balki and words transformed to actions on-screen by Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Saiyami Kher, the movie is Inspired by the incredible achievement of Karoly Takacs, follow the achievements of special athletes, and who have achieved more than when they were called “normal”. From the synopsis, one can tell that it’s a true event. An official announcement will take place soon after which a brief but effective marketing campaign will immediately commence.

R Balki’s movies strongly break stereotypes that are strongly hush-hush and ‘shameful’ according to Indian society. Paa, English Vinglish, Ki & Ka, Shamitabh, Pad Man, Mission Mangal, Lust Stories 2, and now Ghoomer. Of course, the pattern of picking controversial topics is evident. With that, the fans are expecting Ghoomer to be another ground-breaking movie by Balki.
Coming to the latter, the Ghoomer lead Saiyami Kher, she has worked in Hindi and Telugu films. Born in Nashik, Maharashtra, Saiyami is a former Miss India. She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Rey (2015) and her Hindi film debut with Mirzya (2016). She’s a star kid of a popular Marathi supermodel Advait Kher.
