Actor Jaideep Ahlawat who predominantly works in Bollywood is gearing up for his upcoming release . The actor received applause for his groundbreaking successful web series, Paatal Lok. The actor is gearing up for the second season of the show.
In a recent interview, Jaideep Ahlawat said, “When Paatal Lok came, everybody was locked in their houses due to Covid-19. We were scared. We definitely knew we had done a great job with Paatal Lok, but we didn’t know that after two days there would be bombardment. 48 hours after the release of Pataal Lok my phone started hanging. I cried every single day multiple times because of the phone calls and responses.”
On the second day of release, The actor said he was on a call with Manoj Bajpayee for 30-40 minutes. During this VC with friends, he received a message saying Call me when you’re free its Aamir Khan for which he felt it must be a prank. However, I went to the call, and listening to the voice I realized it was really Aamir Khan.
Aamir Khan asked the actor, can we talk on a video call? They had a conversation for more than 30 minutes and Aamir asked him about his acting process and preps. Jaideep who was surprised about the question coming from such a big actor admits that Aamir was so sweet and genuine.
Jaideep Ahlawat will be seen as one of the leads in Jaae Jaan, a crime thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh. This marks as Kareena Kapoor’s OTT debut which will stream from September 21 this year.
