Aadujeevitham is a Malayalam film based on the best-selling novel ‘Benniyan’ written by Benny Daniel. This film is directed by the National Award-winning Director ‘Blessy’, and Academy Award Winner AR Rahman scored the tunes where Academy winner Resul Pookutty worked as Sound Engineer for this flick.
This film features Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant worker forced into slavery as a goatherd on a farm in Saudi Arabia. This film trailer was sent for further editing and somehow, this video was leaked. So, immediately the makers officially released the trailer but the release date is yet to be announced.
This trailer is set in Arabic countries where they offer work for other country people and then belong them to slavery. A man who went to Dubai for work to earn more salary gets ill-treated and starved in the desert till death. He faces a lot of struggles and tries to come back home remembering his wife. But, there is no chance of coming back. Another person with the hero is also stuck there waiting for death because there’s nothing else they can do.
This film is based on many true events that happened to many people who went to that country for work but in the end, they get ill-treated and starved to death. This film is titled ‘The Goat Life’ in English with the extremely talented crew.
