With the unexpected outcome of the Pandemic almost killed the Entertainment Industry. To prevent the wide spread of the deadly virus all the places where a large number of people were halted. Mainly, the Cinema which deals with the theatre experience lost its charm in 2019. Day by day the rise in OTT platforms made it critical to retain the old version of full occupancy of theatres.
Now in the latest turn of events, The Andhra Pradesh State Fiber Net Ltd came up with a new proposal. Going into detail, the new proposal states that the subscribers of AP Fiber can access a new movie on the release day itself from their homes. You can watch a new movie by sitting on your bed only. But, if we want to avail this we have to add a new plan for the monthly subscription. Mainly, we can access the new movies only for 24 hours.
The Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Fiber Net Ltd, Sri Gautam Reddy Garu revealed this news through a press conference. He also said, from June 2 they will start the implementation process and within the next 3 months, we can expect the project completely finished. Gautam Reddy Garu made a note that the committee already had discussions with Producer’s council. Once the formalities are done, the proposal of new movies on Television will starts.
Already, the Entertainment Industry is shackled by the pandemic effect on one side and with the immediate rise of OTT platforms on the other side. Let’s see how the Producer’s Council will come up with an alternative solution or if will they accept the bizarre proposal.
