A hit and a flop film of Vijay Deverakonda to have a re-release

Vijay Devarkonda after bagging disaster with Liger pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film Khushi, being directed by Shiv Nirvana who helmed films like Ninnu Kori and Majili. This film also marks the second time collaboration of the director with the actress Samantha.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that along with this new release, Vijay Devarkonda is aiming at two re-releases as well. Shocking is that one of these two releases is of a disaster film of the hero.

Digging into the news, one among them is the super hit film Pelli Choopulu, and the other is his disaster film Dear Comrade starring Rashmika Mandanna in the lead actress role. Though this combo’s Geetha Govindam registered a huge hit in Vijay’s career, Dear Comrade scored a flop. So, it is surprising why makers are planning for a re-release, while Arjun Reddy or Geetha Govindam can be considered in this place.

Yash Rangineni, who co-produced both these movies, Pelli Choopulu and Dear Comrade announced that they are planning to re-release them soon. He said that though Dear Comrade didn’t attain the reach that they expected, it still brought back their investment.
