Fighter is an upcoming Hindi movie directed by Siddharth Anand, which will be released exactly 7 months from now.
Siddharth Anand produced Fighter under Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead role, as Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and other supporting artists. The film was announced on January 2021, pre-production was delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The film was initially scheduled to release on 30 September 2022 but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, after multiple postponements’, it was finally scheduled to release on 25 January 2024 theatrically.
Using Twitter as a communication platform Hrithik Roshan posted a picture of him walking towards the plane and touching the plane’s front part during sunset and captioned it with “#Fighter #25Jan2024 #7MonthsToFighter”. Seeing this fans also flooded comments in jet speed and expressed their excitement in remarks. One stated ‘Excitement level rocket’, another stated ‘Blockbuster Rs1000 crore landing’.
Apart from Bang Bang and War, it is the third movie of the director-hero duo. In a statement earlier the director say, “With Hrithik, this is my third film- Bang Bang and War had different characters. Rajveer and Kabhir are two different people and personalities, opposite. And Patty, the character he’s playing in Fighter, he made it his own. He is like a Chameleon, he just adapts and becomes that character for that one year (When he’s shooting the film).”
