Every year, there will be new learnings for the film industry. Tollywood is no exception for the same. Like every year, the filmmakers of Tollywood also attempt different films, and only a few of them will become hits. At the same time, some films will remain disasters and will deliver some learning experiences. In 2022, Tollywood decided to give up on films in the backdrop of Naxals.
In the Telugu industry, this year, we have witnessed three interesting films in the backdrop of Naxals. Acharya, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi has a Naxal backdrop. Koratala Siva is the director of the movie. The film failed at the box office and we have two more films.
Rana Daggubati starrer Virata Parvam is another film in the backdrop which is a failure. The film was released amidst many expectations but it failed to perform well and impress the viewers.
On the other hand, the recent film Like, Share, Subscribe was also released as a comedy film but it has a Naxal backdrop, and it did not work.
Altogether, three films failed at the box office.
