With a disturbed childhood and everything that has fallen off place, the leading lady chooses to escape her difficult life and runs away from home, where she meets the leading man. Alia Bhatt hours ago took to her Instagram handle to celebrate 10 years of Highway.
Imtiaz Ali’s directorial is also written by the reputed filmmaker, the film was bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala with a budget of 250 crores, which later hit the box office with 455 crores, joining the 400 crore club. The film stars Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in lead roles.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently filming for her next, Jigra, a story that sketches the affection of a sister towards her brother. Rumour has it that Vedang, The Archies’ fame actor, is approached for the role. Alia is also co-producing the film along with Dharma Productions. Reports suggest that Vedang Raina is going to play the role of Alia Bhatt’s brother in the film.
