Vijay Sethupathi makes shocking comments for being called Pan-India star

Vijay Sethupathi got a prominent place in almost all languages with his versatile films and acting. Now, the actor is gearing up for the release of the Bollywood film Farzi, created by Raj and DK. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 10. It features Shahid Kapoor and Raashii Khanna in the lead.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi is also working on Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Atlee.

Interestingly, in the latest interaction, when Vijay Sethupathi is called a Pan-India star, he said that he is not a fan of the expression ‘pan-India’ star. He further added that he does not want people to use the term while referring to him.

The actor said, “No sir, I am an actor. I am not comfortable with that pan-India statement. Sometimes that gives pressure also. I am just an actor and no need to put a label under this. So, that’s enough. I want to do every language film. I want to do a Bengali film, a Gujarati film. So if I get the chance, I’ll go and work there,”.

It is a known fact, the actor became closer to Telugu audiences with his baddie role in Vaishnav Tej Uppena.
