Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, features Prabhas as Raghava, Krithi Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, Devdatta as Hanuman, Vatsal Sheth as Indrajit and Sonal Chauhan and Trupti Tarodmal in crucial roles.
Reports suggest the film happens to have disappointed the audience. Saif Ali Khan who plays the role of Ravana in the film Adiprush expresses how difficult is it to play negative characters.
“Mentally, I am not a conventional type, I don’t understand where I have finally fitted in, but I normally play roles that the camera is not supporting you. If you impress the audience, it’s a battle, you know when you play a nice guy, the whole scene is engineered to help you, you just have to basically just stand there, and kind of look like a little puppy dog, and the music plays. Compared to charming the audience by being wicked.” Stated the artist.
