Lokesh Kanagaraj Shocks fans by saying he will quit after 10 films ?

Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his movies like Vikram, Master and his upcoming Leo, in a recent interview made the shocking statement that he is not aiming for a long career in the industry but wishes to quit after making 10 films.

The dynamic director has made his mark in the Tamil film industry with his own cinematic universe the first to do so in the language. The film maker has helmed 4 films so far, debuting with a movie called ‘Maanagaram’ and is currently working on his upcoming project titled ‘Leo’ with Vijay Thalapathy and Trisha.

In a recent interview, the Kaithi director shockingly stated that he does not intend to make infinite films. Following in the footsteps of director Quentin Tarantino, he revealed that he would quit following his 10 films. He went on to add that it is not his plan to make a plethora of films, he wanted to try his hand at directing and will continue for 10 movies.

He thanked the producers and actors who helped him create the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. He concluded by saying that he is passionate about movie making and apparently wants to try different things in the field.

His upcoming movie, Leo, stars Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan etc along with Vijay and Trisha. The film is reportedly to be centered around a drug racket and its connection to the LCU is yet to be disclosed.
