Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika in the lead roles, is one of the most anticipated films of Indian cinema. Its predecessor was a box-office shattering success, transcending any regional barriers. The second part is hoping for a 2024 release in the months between May and August. The film’s antagonist Fahadh Faasil was introduced towards the end of the first part, and has already made his mark with his dynamic screen presence and his iconic dialogue “party ledha pushpa?”.
In an interview the movie’s villain stated, “The second part of Pushpa has a lot more of Bhanwar Singh. There is a lot of conflict happening between the two characters and the second part revolves around the conflict.” In further questions regarding the actor’s upcoming project with the director of Premam, he added “We are trying to go on floors next year. Alphonse is busy with a film now and even I am completing my commitments. We want to do it at a time when both of us are mentally in and totally free to focus on the film,”.
The actor has also been a part of the LCU since his debut in Vikram and when asked about his return, he replied by saying, “It’s super exciting. I know that he is going to put all the characters back in some form or the other. Discussions are on, so let’s see when things fall in place.” Well, it looks like the phenomenal actor has a lot up his sleeve in terms of upcoming films and we can’t wait to watch!
