Despite Diwali being the film season, it is December, and three highly anticipated movies will be released this month. Each movie has its own charm, and two of them- with different genres but one emotion- are coming to theatres.
Both Animal, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, and Hi Nanna, featuring Nani and Mrunal Thakur as the main leads, are centred around a father-child relationship. Both trailers also conveniently gripped the audience’s attention, making them excited for the release.
Interestingly, both films carry the same sentiment, but the filmmakers have different goals. Even though the same emotion drives both, Hi Nanna tells a story of a tender father-daughter relationship. At the same time, Animal revolves around the bonding of a toxic father and his son.
However, the catch in both films will depend on the making of those narrations and how much a director can catch the audience’s emotions with their gripping storylines.
