As in every other industry, Tollywood’s senior actors are still trending and working on films to impress their fans. The senior most heroes in Tollywood include Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna.
From their recent works, we can see that the story selection of these actors is up to their mark. The fans of these actors are greatly disappointed by their choice of stories. These films are even failing to perform at the box office.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi from his day of comeback he is focused on remaking Tamil movies. Even though this actor did a multi-starrer along with his son Ram Charan titled Acharya the story greatly disappointed the fans. The recent blockbuster Waltair Veerayya directed by Bobby Kolli was a blast and fans enjoyed the vintage mass of Chiranjeevi on screen, but this ain’t going to last forever as the upcoming movies are again remakes of Tamil Star Ajith.
Coming to Nagarjuna all his recent works are based on undercover cops, Interpol, or spies. Nagarjuna is famous for his romantic movies, and comical entertainers. But these serious lineups are not satisfying the fans.
On the other hand, Balakrishna is again doing the same mistake he made in his career earlier. Going for the same story of action with the same area of emotions with political references may work for a few movies but won’t work in long run. This even can’t attract a new set of fans in the market.
Finally Venkatesh, is loved for his unique concepts and experiments. Both the family audience and the mass audience love Venkatesh. But even this actor is not doing movies that he is good at. In recent times Venkatesh’s projects are multi-starrers. His last movie is a multi-starrer with Varun Tej and his upcoming web series is a multi-starrer with Rana Daggubati.
Lets see if these senior actors will change their story selections and work in any new or unique projects in the year 2023 other than routine concepts or remakes.
