Virupaksha, a recent supernatural mystic thriller finally locks the date to air on OTT space. This movie was released on a very less expectancy meter on April 21 on big screens. Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha who is considering a lucky charm to Tollywood are the lead pair. Jointly bankrolled by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar, the movie delivered double profits to the makers.
As per the latest trade reports, the movie was on the edge to breach the 100 cr gross mark. The makers of the film officially stated the film surpassed 91 crores already. Helmed by Karthik Varma Dandu, the film and music were scored by Loknath of Kantara fame.
After scoring a double blockbuster in two Telugu states, the movie went on for a Pan India ride. So the makers released the film on a grand scale in Tamil, Malayalam and other languages. Sadly, the versions other than Telugu didn’t run well. In the two Telugu states, the movie is running successfully even now.
The window policy for a Tollywood film to enter the ott space are at least 28 days after the theatrical release. From the sources, we have news on the movie’s ott release date. On May 21, the movie is all set to showcase its strength to Ott lovers. Netflix, the one of giant streamers bought the post-theatrical rights. So everyone can watch the movie on Netflix.
