Thalapathy Vijay is a true superstar of Kollywood, and he proved his stamina again with his latest outing Varisu (Varasudu in Telugu).. Helmed by Vamshi Paidhipally, Varisu grossed over 300 crores worldwide. This will be the second film for Vijay to achieve this feat. Before he did it with Bigil. As a regional language film that much gross means not an easy way but simply his stardom.
Tollywood Ace producer Dil Raju bankrolled this family drama entertainer in his SVC banner. India’s sensational lady Rashmika Mandanna was the leading lady for Varisu. Thaman scored musicals for this Vijay movie.
Before it releases, the movie made headlines day by day for any cause whether the controversial statements by Dil Raju and Vamshi Paidhipally and for the reason of theater allocation for a Dubbing movie in two Telugu States.
The situation is entirely different after the release. As the release date was postponed to 14 January, everyone thought of Dil Raju stepping out of competition from Sankranthi and regional films.
Immediately after the release and success meet of Varisu, Vijay headed to join Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalapathy67 titled Leo. Trisha Krishnan plays the love interest for Vijay. After that Vijay teamed up with Atlee for a new project tentatively titled Thalapathy68.
Meanwhile, a speculation surfed on social media that the combo of Varisu will join forces again for a new film. Vamshi Paidhipally, Vijay Thalapathy and Dil Raju were in talks almost the project will go on sets after they make it official.
