Vicky kaushal locked himself for 5 days , Here’s why!

Vicky Kaushal’s journey to stardom is unconventional, to say the least. Armed with an engineering degree, he dreamt of the silver screen, not circuit boards. His passion led him to acting workshops, eventually landing him a role in the critically acclaimed “Masaan” in 2015.

Kaushal’s portrayal of a young man caught in a moral dilemma was a revelation. His raw talent and nuanced performance earned him instant recognition and the prestigious IIFA Award for Best Male Debut. Since then, he’s captivated audiences with his chameleon-like ability to inhabit diverse roles.

From the intense undercover spy in “Raazi” to the endearing small-town cop in “Raman Raghav 2.0,” Kaushal has proven his range and depth. He’s not afraid to take risks, tackling challenging subjects like terrorism in “Uri: The Surgical Strike” and portraying India’s legendary freedom fighter Udham Singh in “Sardar Udham.”

Kaushal’s dedication to his craft is evident in his meticulous preparation and transformative performances. He’s garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards, including a National Film Award and two Filmfare Awards.

Vicky Kaushal spoke about a tough exercise he did for Raman Raghav 2.0.

In it, he played the role of ACP Raghavan ‘Raghav’ Singh Umbi. In an earlier interview with ETimes, the actor revealed staying in a house for five days to tap into the emotion of his character.

Agreeing that he did that exercise, the actor said, “I am not saying that this exercise makes you understand the character or you learn acting. As an actor, if you want to explore something new inside you, you need to do something different that you don’t do in your regular life. You need to think in a different way,” he shared adding that as an actor he must think like the character and believe in his mindset.
