Vijay Deverakonda’s next film with director Parasuram had a formal launch a few weeks back. Mrunal Thakur will be the lead pair in this film while this film will be the second collaboration between the actor and the director after their blockbuster Geetha Govindam.
As per lathe test reports, Another young actress will also be playing an important role in the film. Divyansha Kaushik is said to be finalized for this role in this family entertainer. The actress who made her debut with Majili starring opposite Naga Chaitanya along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu was a blockbuster at theatres.
No other films after Majili are a hit for the actress. Let’s hope VD13 gives the hit journey she is likely to travel for and fans have to wait to know what exactly her role in the film is. Makers are planning to title the film “Family Star” which is still under consideration.
Tentatively titled VD13 is under the thought of shooting continuously for 35 days, then pausing for a few days until the minor schedules are completed, and then resuming the rest of the schedules with the lead pair. Gopi Sundar is composing music for this film while KU Mohanan takes care of cinematography. The movie is planning to hit theatres on next year’s Sankranti.
