Damage, disaster, hurricane, havoc, catastrophe, shattering, destructive – kick in as many adjectives as you wish and it’ll not be enough to explain the after-effects of Adipurush’s flop results. Now, if you were to compare quantity with quality, of course you’d prove your point, but proving needs logic, and logic who? Today’s entertainment industry is the definition of, ‘just become a famous face everybody knows then make low-quality content and people will still shower 100 crores on you’. There was a time 100 crores was considered a super hit milestone for a movie. These days, everyone has it like a hand sanitizer – Adipurush is in the list too, thanks to Raut’s tricks.
Now that Adipurush director Om Raut‘s other mind games haven’t left a single scar on the fans’ metal skin, he’s using Prabhas’ fandom to save his already-dead impression. Despite the poor VFX and terrible interpretation of Ramayana, it’s almost a disgrace to see that it has earned 240+ crores. So many ways to use money and the audience chose Adipurush. Crying in a corner situation for all rational and underrated movies.
As if all that distraught wasn’t enough, Om Raut says Prabhas fit ‘perfectly’ for the role. Sure, Prabhas is a great actor but we all remember how a bad teacher has ruined some of our favourite subjects back in school. Put two and two together and you’ll see how that instance resembles with this one.
