In a recent interview with Indulge, the star discussed how her love life has always been ‘an open book’. She also discussed when she plans to marry and whether exes can still be pals.
When asked how she handles grief with such dignity, Sushmita replied, “My life has absolutely been an open book because I have lived it very honestly, and sometimes recklessly. Having said that, dignity is something that is present in all aspects of your life; it is part of your identity. So it doesn’t matter whether your decisions injure you, if you’re betrayed, or if you’re to blame.
She went on to say that if something isn’t meant to be, you take the lesson and go on. The actor went on to say that ‘it’s worth investing that much time on a human being and thinking that a mistake’.

When asked if exes may be friends and if she plans to marry, Sushmita replied, “Definitely. But I think it’s difficult and complicated. Many people can be friends with their ex and not know where to draw the line or set limits. But it is feasible because I have witnessed it, and I am fortunate to have it in my life as well… Oh, absolutely (will she marry)! There has never been a ‘never’ scenario. Whether it’s the biological clock or the right moment determined by social conditioning, neither is the right cause to marry. But if the individual is right and meets all of my requirements, I will marry.”
