Silambarasan TR has teamed up with director Desingh Periyasamy for an upcoming film titled STR48 which is bankrolled the film by Kamal Haasan under his banner, Raaj Kamal Films. The Music for the film will be scored by Anirudh Ravichander
The anticipation for the movie STR48 has grown significantly over the past several months, and the actor has been working really hard with his metamorphosis in Thailand and now in London. The enormous pre-production schedule is moving quickly, and the film’s shooting is expected to begin in August. The movie, which is reportedly a period-action drama about a strong warrior, is rumoured to have STR playing a dual character. The producers will formally make additional STR48 announcements in due course.
According to reports, the actor is undergoing a massive transformation for the film. It’s an out-and-out action film in the period set up and director Desingh Periyasamy plans to mount it as the biggest STR film to date. The estimated budget of the film will be around Rs 100 crore, thereby emerging the costliest film of STR’s career. It features STR in a dual role, and both the characters have their own distinct identity,”.
