Sivakarthikeyan and Anirudh debuted in the film industry at the same time. Both of them made their entry through Dhanush’s 3. From then the two became good friends. Because of this friendship, Anirudh composed music for Sivakarthikeyan starrer films such as Ethir Neechal, Maan Karate, Kaaki Sattai, Remo, Velaikkaran, Doctor, and Don. In all the 7 films that appeared in his alliance, the songs never disappointed the fans.
Don was released in the last Sivakarthikeyan-Anirudh alliance. The movie which was released last year was a hit and the songs hit on another level and collected more than Rs 100 crores at the box office.
A young music composer named Bharat Shankar is composing the music for his upcoming movie Maveeran. Apart from this, AR Rahman is said to be composing the music for Sivakarthikeyan’s latest upcoming film Ayalaan and GV Prakash for the film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.
As Sivakarthikeyan has been working with different composers in this way, it was reported that he is working with other composers due to a conflict between him and Anirudh. In addition to this, there were reports that Anirudh had refused to compose music for the Sivakarthikeyan-AR Murugadoss film, and rumours began to swirl that a clash between Anirudh and Siva was certain.
But in reality, Anirudh also has a string of big-budget films like Leo, Indian 2, Jailer, Jawaan, and NTR 30, so it is said that he refused to compose music for Sivakarthikeyan’s film and otherwise there was no conflict between the two.
