Ranbir Kapoor is getting ready for Animal, which is being directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The main portion of the movie’s shoot is finished, and the crew will regroup soon in Mumbai for a last 12-day schedule before wrapping things off. On August 11, the gangster drama will release in theatres. Now, the latest reports suggest that the makers of Animal have roped in Shakti Kapoor in the film. A source close to the development tells the media, “Shakti Kapoor plays the role of a yester-year gangster in Animal and has already shot for his portions in the earlier schedules. The cast was thrilled to have him on board since he plays a fascinating character. When Sandeep Reddy Vanga created a persona of a mobster who has passed his prime, it was actually an obvious casting.
With Ranbir Kapoor’s character showing traits of a psychopath, the film is expected to be a potent depiction of a brutal gangster story. The story revolves around a crime family, with Anil Kapoor playing the harsh godfather and Ranbir Kapoor playing his son. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, well known for helming Kabir Singh, is the director of Animal. On August 11, 2023, the movie will have a theatrical release in five different languages. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as an unseen Avatar in the film. Along with Ranbir and Rashmika Mandanna, notable actors in the movie also include Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Tripti Dimri. The movie is financed by Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar’s T-Series.
