Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Pan-India films of the year. Scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, the film has been generating considerable buzz with frequent updates in recent days.

According to reports, the producers are now looking for a famous Bollywood actor to appear in the Allu Arjun film. Sanjay Dutt may appear in Pushpa 2 as a cameo character. Interestingly, this comes months after a report that the claimed Pushpa director Sukumar has decided to include ‘one major Bollywood A-lister for Pushpa 2.
According to sources close to film development, the actor will portray an “influential figure” in the Sukumar-directed film, adding “an extra layer to any storyline.” However, there is no official confirmation of this yet.
As per the latest rumours, Sanjay Dutt might have a potential cameo in Pushpa 2. Per the buzz, Sanju Baba will have a powerful character, possibly a menacing don.
Samantha and Janhvi Kapoor in Pushpa 2
Following the monstrous success of Pushpa: The Rise, fans have high expectations from the sequel. Even filmmaker Sukumar is reportedly leaving no stone unturned to turn the movie globally appealing.
Moreover, recent reports claim that Janhvi Kapoor may also be seen in the second instalment. Additionally, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, known for her viral item song’ Oo Antava Mama’ from the first part, will briefly appear in the second instalment’s item song.
However, an official confirmation is awaited regarding the circulating rumours.
Highest budget film so far
With a jaw-dropping budget of Rs 500 crores, Pushpa 2 is already making waves as one of the most expensive Telugu films.
While fans are hopeful for another cinematic spectacle with Pushpa 2, Sukumar has made high efforts to ensure the best storytelling and creativity. On the other hand, Devi Sri Prasad will once again compose the music tracks for the movie.

Iconic star Allu Arjun has even won the National Award for Best Actor for the film. Even though the film didn’t do well commercially at the box office on the Pan-India level, the audience praised the actor’s performance.
