Hero Sai Dharam Tej landed into controversy because of his act in Kalahasti temple. As Sai Dharam Tej latest movie Bro is all set to hit the screens on July 28, the actor is visiting shrines before its release. As part of it, Sai Dharam Tej went to Srikalahasti and Pujas were performed at Subramanya Swamy temple.
As there were no priests at the time of going into the temple, Sai Dharam he himself offered aarti to the god and it sparked anger among the devotees, questioning how a hero himself can give aarti to God.
According to the temple’s rules and Hindu belief, only the priest is allowed to perform the aarthi. Therefore devotees are claiming against the temple authorities for granting permission to Sai Dharam Tej to give aarti to God himself.
Meanwhile, Sai Dharam Tej’s temple visit tour, which also included Kadapa Dargah and Kanipakam, garnered a warm welcome from fans, with crowds gathering to watch a glimpse of the actor. It is known that the actor after a long wait scored a good hit with Virupaksha recently that stars Samyuktha Menon in the lead actress role. Now, the actor pinned all his hopes on Bro as well. The film marks his first time collaborating with his uncle Pawan Kalyan.
