Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher recently announced their divorce after 20 years inseparable.

The famous couples announced their split on social media, stating that they filed for divorce together last year.

The couple, who have three children, met in 2001 and became engaged in 2004.

They shared the news with a picture of themselves in tennis whites, writing: “After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down.”

In a post on Baron Cohen and Fisher’s Instagram stories, they stated: “We have always emphasized our privacy and have been discreetly working through this change.

The two originally met at a party in Sydney, Australia. Baron Cohen later told The New York Times about their initial encounter, calling Fisher “hilarious”.

We were at a pretty fancy party, and she and I connected via making fun of the other people there. I knew immediately. I’m not sure if she did.”

Baron Cohen gained to prominence in the 1990s with his Ali G character, a famed mock wannabe mobster turned comic celebrity.

In Baron Cohen’s 2016 film Grimsby, Wilson revealed that she experienced being asked to do tasks that were deemed derogatory to women or her size.

Rebel expressed feeling humiliated and sexually harassed by several scenes in the film. She compared the comedian to a “fourth-grade bully.

According to Baron Cohen’s lawyers, the evidence reveals that her charges have “no basis in reality”.
