Thalapathy Vijay’s next with director Lokesh Kanagaraj is on sets currently. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj had earlier revealed that the shoot for the film will starts as soon as possible and that he was busy with the pre-production work.
Tentatively being referred to as Thalapathy67, is likely to have South Queen Trisha as the leading lady. If Trisha comes on board, the film will mark the reunion of the hit duo of Ghilli, Tirupaachi, Aathi and Kuruvi, after a long hiatus of 15 years.
The reports also revealed that the director will made a promotional video of small length as he did for the Vikram starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan. However, an official confirmation is awaited on the aforesaid news.
Meanwhile, on February 3 rd the makers are planning to release a small Glimpse video regarding movie’s release date. Also the makers almost finalised the release date as October 19,2023. We can expect the same on glimpse video.
Currently Vijay is basking success with his Pongal release Varisu which was directed by Vamshi Paidhipally. And interestingly the Thalapathy67 post theatrical rights reserved by Netflix for 160 crores nearly though the film still at very early stage of shoot.
