Pooja Hegde’s all recent movies have bombed at the box office. Even then, she was approached by various big-budget movie teams to cast her in their films. Puzzling many, the dusky beauty rejected crazy offers like Koratala Siva-NTR combo film and Trivikram-Mahesh’s movie. There were rumors that the actress is moving permanently to Bollywood and will not be signing any south movies going further or might be very choosy. Currently, she is roped in for Puri Jagannath’s Jana Gana Mana which stars Vijay Deverakonda, and Salman Khan’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
The other crazy project she signed is a Kannada film. Sandalwood sources say that Pooja wanted to do the movie at any cost as it has the Pan India Rocking Star Yash in the lead role. Directed by Norton, the film has a crazy storyline and will see a pan-India release just like the KGF series. Cine observers opine that this is why the actress rejected other movies. Though there is no wrong in looking for pan-India films, Pooja underestimated Tollywood’s reach, say the experts. Will Pooja’s luck turn good with Yash’s movie? We will have to wait and see.
