Ustaad Ram Pothineni’s is on a swing. As his project with Lingusamy, The Warrior, is approaching its release, he started the shoot of the Boyapati film. Meanwhile, there are rumours that The Warrior might be postponed. The film was originally slated to release on the 8th of next month. But, Tollywood sources say that the post-production is on a slow track and patchworks are also to be completed. Pending work may not be finished before the said date and there is a possibility of postponing the project, they say. Already there were two changes in the fixed release schedule for July. Chay Akkineni’s Thank You was postponed to July 22nd from July 8th. As a result, the movie Happy Birthday was preponed and is coming on July 8th from the 22nd. If The Warrior also joins this postponement club, then we might see more movies adjusting their movie dates.
On the other hand, irrespective of the release date, the movie team started their promotional work. The recently released songs have become instant hits. Both the musical numbers of Devi Sri Prasad, Bullet song and Whistle song are topping the musical charts of South India. The movie was made as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual movie. Srinivasa Chitturi is bankrolling this project in which Aadhi Pinisetty will be seen in the antagonist role. While Krithi Shetty is starring alongside Ram, Akshara Goud has played a key character.
