Ram Gopal Varma, a well-known director, made a surprising announcement today that he will enter politics before the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
On Thursday, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma made a’sudden’ announcement on X (previously Twitter). He stated that he will run for office in the forthcoming Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha elections in 2024. Ram Gopal has announced that he will run for the Lok Sabha from the Pithapuram constituency in the state.
Ram Gopal Varma shared news on his official Twitter account and worote, “Sudden decision. Am happy to inform that I am contesting from Pithapuram.” The filmmaker did not share more details.
According to a source ,it is reported that he is all set to contest Lok Sabha election from Pithapuram in Andhra Pradesh.
This announcement came soon after the Telugu Desam Party-Bharatiya Janata Party-Jana Sena Party (JSP) alliance declared that Tollywood actor and JSP chief Pawan Kalyan would be fielded from the Pithapuram seat.
Ram is contesting against Pawan Kalyan from Pithapuram in Andhra Pradesh.
Previously, Ram Gopal Varma chastised TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu, TDP leader Nara Lokesh, and actor-politician Pawan Kalyan for a supposed protest outside his Hyderabad office over his political thriller, Vyooham.
