Hero Rajasekhar is one of those stars who shone brightly during their high tide. But many of those stars are now looking at different career roles. Already, actors like Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Suman, etc., have smoothly rolled into Antagonist and character roles. Though these stars did great in their hay day, they don’t have the fan base equal to someone like Chiru, Balayya, Nag, or Venky. As a result, they had to adapt to the situation. Now, it seems the turn of once-an-Angry-Youngman Rajasekhar to don the role of Antagonist.
There were rumors during Balayya-Boyapati’s Legend movie-making that Rajasekhar was playing the film’s villain role. But for unknown reasons, that plan didn’t materialize, and Jagapati replaced him. That role led Jaggu Bhai to his second innings, which is still going very strong. Later, even though Rajasekhar had done a few movies, including the superhit Garudavega, his mind was still on the villain roles. At last, his wish seems to be granted as Rajasekhar is considered for the antagonist role in NBK108, which Anil Ravipudi helms. It’s an exciting update as the movie will see a fresh villain’s entry into Tollywood. If these rumors are true, will the film help Rajasekhar just like Legend had done to Jagapathy? Let’s hope so.
