Rachel Brosnahan auditioned for Lois Lane

”The Marvellous Mrs Maisel” actress Rachel Brosnahan has reportedly delivered an outstanding audition for the role of Louis Lane in James Gunn’s ”Superman: Legacy”.

Ever since James Gunn announced that he is directing Superman: Legacy casting is in the spotlight. Emma Mackey, Samara Weaving, and Phoebe Dynevor also auditioned for the same role, though it’s unclear who had advanced to the screentest stage of casting. A source says Brosnahan delivered an outstanding audition for the role of Lois Lane. Another source says she may be outside the age range the studio is considering for Louis Lane. Though there is no confirmation from James Gunn.

Rachel Brosnahan won Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding lead actress in 2018 and two consecutively Golden Globe Awards in 2018 and 2019 for her role in Amazon prime studio’s The Marvellous Mrs Maisel. She returned to the Broadway play ”The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window” opposite Oscar Isacc at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
