The National Award Winning Actress Pareenti Chopra recently got engaged to a well-known politician and Member of Parliament Raghav Chadda. She recently tweeted about the impending Diljit Dosanjh movie Chamkila, a biography of the 27-year-old assassinated Punjabi musician Amar Singh Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali is the director and Mohit Chaudaray is the producer of the movie.
She also tweeted with the comment, “You’ve heard his voice, now hear his story!” She also included the hashtags “Amar Singh #Chamkila, coming soon only on @NetflixIndia,” Imtiaz Ali, Shibasish Sarkar, Mohit Chauhan, Ar Rahman, and Sheetal Sharma in the message. In the tweet, she also made reference to a teaser clip that depicts how “It began with a throng gathered in front of a stage as a narrator introduced the singer. The “greatest singer of his time” is invited onto the stage and referred to as “Jawan dilon ki muskaan, aur buzurgo ki shaan (The smile of youngsters and the pride of seniors)”. Diljit entered holding an ektara and addressed the audience, who applauded him. He appeared different without a turban.
By the end of the year or early the following year, the movie might be available on Netflix. due to the lack of disclosure.
