Director Prashant Neel bagged a sensational blockbuster across the nation with his last outing KGF. The film released without any expectations has raised the Sandalwood standards by giving the first thousand crore film. Now expectations are sky high on this director’s next project Salaar starring Prabhas. No matter how many films Prabhas is doing now, the waiting of the darling fans for Salaar is more than any of them.
Meanwhile, it is being speculated that though Kannada movie lovers are fighting to limit Prasanth Neil to Kannada films and raise the standards there, he is going to make Tollywood a permanent place as his focus is more on Tollywood heroes than any other.
The reason for this statement is very clear as Prashant Neel will start NTR 31 soon after Salaar is over. Anyway, the shooting will take more than a year. After that, there will be work for Salaar 2 again starring Prabhas. The inside talk is that the Salaar sequel is already locked even if it is not officially announced. After completing this, there will be a project with Ram Charan. DVV Danayya will be the producer.
Though KGF 3 is announced, there are many doubts regarding the project as the director has back-to-back projects that fill his calendar almost till 2027. Also, Prasanth Neil is very keen to work with Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. In that case, returning to Kannada films is not a feasible task. So it will be difficult to move the Neil flag from Telugu for another ten years.
Meanwhile, it is heard that Salaar promotions are going to be started on a massive scale within a week and ten days of the release of Adipurush.
