The makers of the upcoming film Ghost starring Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar are gearing up for its theatrical tomorrow. Advance bookings for the film have opened on October 16, but more than 24 hours later none of them are sold out in Bengaluru.
Ghost film is distributed by distributor and producer Jayanna of Jayanna Films in Karnataka and has looked at getting about 350 screens, much of which would be outside the core area of Bengaluru. While Leo has 1000 plus shows, Ghost has about 200 shows.
Netizens claim that the producer is in a profit zone already as the team has fetched good money from Kannada Satellite and Kannada digital rights, as well as from Hindi theatrical, satellite, and digital rights and the producer claimed that he is kind of in a safe zone and will have profits with box office numbers.
The slow pace of bookings for the film is attributed to multiple reasons the main being audience hoping for early morning shows but a lack of offline promotional events in the state and the team is taking things too lightly because they have already sold the distribution, satellite and digital rights for good amount.
