Nagarjuna fires on a popular director for wasting time.

Akkineni Nagarjuna whose recent outing ‘The Ghost’ turned out to be the biggest disaster at the box office has not announced his next project yet. A couple of directors’ names came out for his next film, but no official news came out yet. However, writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada who gave the story for Raviteja’s blockbuster ‘Dhamaka’ was almost confirmed to wield the megaphone for Nagarjuna’s next. But, according to the reports, Nagarjuna is not at all happy with the director and reportedly fired him for wasting time.

Writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada planned to mark his directorial debut as director with the Nagarjuna starrer and came up with a remake story. Nagarjuna thought that the director had the official remake rights of the original Malayalam film and also liked the story very much. Nag even said they can start the film immediately and target the release date for Sankranthi. However, things turned bad as the film got hit by controversy regarding the remake rights.

The remake rights of the film were already bought by another person and Bezawada Prasanna Kumar failed to get the remake rights. This issue has been going on for months and Nagarjuna fired the director for wasting his time and walked out of the project.
