Mrunal wasn’t supposed to be playing Sita in Sita Ramam

Mrunal Thakur, The Sita of Tollywood, doesn’t need any special introduction to the viewers. This actress had an inspirational journey from serials to movies. The girl from a non-filmy background who entered Bollywood is now ruling Tollywood. She entered the Telugu Film Industry with the most iconic role in an authentic love story. This film will stay in the hearts of the viewers even after decades. The role gave her a lot of love and recognition. This made her a star actress in the Indian film Industry.

Mrunal is now busy promoting her film, which was released today in the theatres. The film ‘Family Star’ was directed by Parasuram and bankrolled by Dil Raju. The film features Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur as the lead actors. The story is about understanding the support system we have at home. This film shows the importance of thanking our family and understanding their part in our journey.

During these interviews, Mrunal spoke about her journey and her struggles. She stated, ” It was Ram Garu who recommended me for the role of Sita. Actually, Hanu sir approached me for the role of Afreen. when Hanu sir watched Super 30, he said, ‘I found my sita’. They were looking for a girl who is calm and gentle. And they wanted that fresh face to the TFI. So that’s how it happened. If I didn’t get Sita Ramam, I wouldn’t have got Hi Nanna and Family Star too.”

This actress also said, ” I fell in love with Sita, Yashna and Indu. Three are completely different from eachothe. The one thing that is common is the three are liberal and Independent. Before taking up a role, I should know the entire story of the girl I play. I just dont take the role but I also want to know what made her the way she is.
