Mammooty is basking in the success of Bramayugam as the film’s box office collections rise with each passing day. Malayalam actor Mammootty is now shooting for his upcoming movie Turbo. The filming of Turbo has been wrapped up on Sunday, February 18.
Earlier, filmmaker-writer Midhun Manuel Thomas, who penned the script of Turbo, had revealed that the makers plan to release the film in May. But now, the grapevine suggests a change in the release plans. Actor-producer Mammootty, director Vysakh and the team plan to postpone the film’s release from May 2024.
The makers are considering June 13, 2024, as the release date of Turbo. In that case, the project will hit the theatres coinciding with the Bakrid celebrations of the year. However, the makers have yet to react to any of these reports. Billed as an action drama, the first look poster features Mammootty stepping out of a jeep in a white veshti and a black shirt.
Also starring Telugu actor Sunil and Kannada actor-filmmaker Raj B Shetty, Turbo is written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, who made the thriller Anjaam Pathiraa. With music scored by Justin Varghese, the film has cinematography by Vishnu Sarma and editing by Shameer Muhammed.
