Karina, a K-pop sensation and aespa member, and actor Lee Jae Wook are supposedly no longer together. The couple’s relationship, which created controversy with a ‘dating apology,’ ended five weeks after going public.
Actor Lee Jae’s management agency, C-JeS Studios verified the split claims. In a statement to SPOTV, the agency stated, “Actor Lee Jae Wook decided to stop the relationship in order to focus on the work he is now doing. The two will stay good colleagues and encourage each other.”

Couple’s connection was revealed by South Korean media outlet Dispatch on February 27. The report was quickly confirmed by both artists’ respective agencies.
According to reports from South Korean media, Karina and Lee Jae Wook decided to part ways due to the immense mental stress caused by negative comments they received following the public announcement of their relationship.
The couple also expressed remorse for their supporters who were affected by the situation. Prior to this, Karina penned an apologetic letter to her dissatisfied followers, who had launched a boycott against her in response to the way the news of their relationship was revealed.
