Kannada star Kiccha Sudeep became famous in Tollywood with Rajamouli’s Eega. Later he worked on a few Telugu films like Syraa Narasimha Reddy and Bahubali. His recent outing, Vikrant Rona also scored a good hit in Tollywood.
Now, the actor is all set with his upcoming movie Kabzaa starring Uppendra and which will release on March 17. It’s a period gangster action movie directed by R Chandru. The movie stars Upendra, Sudeep, and Shriya Saran along with Murali Sharma, and others. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur and it is produced by R Chandru and Alankar Pandian.
Meanwhile, after Kabzaa, there are reports that Sudeep next could be with Naga Chaitanya’s Custody director Venkat Prabhu. Right now, Venkat Prabhu is busy with Custody (a Tamil-Telugu bilingual) starring Naga Chaitanya, Krithi Shetty, Arvind Swami and Priyamani. Naga Chaitanya plays a police officer in this film. The film shooting is taking place in Hyderabad, but he will be wrapping it up soon. Sources said that talks have been going on between the director and Sudeep for a while now.
The script is being developed at this point in time. Once the script is ready and Sudeep gets a full narration, the movie is likely to go on floors. So, Kiccha 46 could be with Venkat Prabhu if all goes well. The film is being planned as a pan-Indian one and we will see plenty of action for sure. Since Custody is releasing in May, this new film could go on floors post August.
