Manchu Vishnu has not seen success for a few years and he launched his dream pan India project Bhakta Kannappa recently with a Pooja Ceremony at Sri Kalahasti temple. The film since its announcement has been in the headlines.
Manchu Vishnu is making all kinds of efforts to bring in stars from all the regions of India to be a part of this film and also has high expectations making it an Indian cinema. Reportedly, Darling Prabhas is said to be seen as Lord Shiva while Nayanthara will be seen as Parvathi.
Manchu Vishnu is leaving no stone approaching stars to cast in this huge-scale project while the female lead Nupur Sanon has recently walked out of the film. There’s a strong buzz about Kannada superstar Shivraj Kumar to play a pivotal role in Kannappa.
The actor who is currently awaiting his upcoming release Ghost is doing a key role in this movie. Malayalam star Mohan Lal is said to be doing a role in this film including Madhubala playing a key role as well.
However, there is no official announcement from the makers about the star cast being in this film which will be directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and Mohan Babu is producing this film. The film started shooting in New Zealand and will only return after completion of the shoot.
