Star heroine Kajal Aggarwal is currently busy with the shoot of her upcoming film ‘Indian 2‘ starring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Star director Shankar Shanmugam is wielding the megaphone for this project which will be released in theatres in the summer of 2024.
On the other hand, Kajal’s recent period drama Karungaapiyam which was released on May 19 2023 bombed at the box office and has now marked its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video. However, the film got an OTT release with a small twist.
The viewers have to pay a minimal amount of Rs. 99 to stream the movie. Featuring Regina Cassandra, Janani, Raiza Wilson, and Iranian actress Noyrika in lead roles, actors like Aadhav Kannadasan, Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, Aditi Ravindranath, TSK, Sherlin Seth, Lollu Sabha Manohar appeared in key roles. Padarthi Padmaja under the Pave Entertainments banner bankrolled this project. Deekay wielded the megaphone for this project. Prasad SN composed tunes for the film.
