Thalapathy Vijay’s 66th film title was revealed as Varasudu for Telugu and Varisu for Tamil on Tuesday on the eve of the actor’s birthday. Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, this is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual flick and marks the entry of Vijay into Tollywood. As Vijay fans are trending his new film title, an interesting rumor is flying in the Film Nagar circles. According to that rumour, the movie’s story is a mix of two superhit Telugu movies. One is the Megastar’s Bavagaru Bagunnara, and the other is Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramlo. Paidipally is said to have mixed these two subjects and prepared the story for Thalapathy.
Similar to those films, the protagonist in Varasudu will come to a big and prestigious family as a guest on behalf of the heroine and after a few events are unfolded, the secret that he is the scion of that family will be revealed followed by an emotional climax. Well, we can never know if this is true, but if true, the flick result will be interesting. Vamsi’s all movies are generally inspired by the old films, but he packs a few commercial elements along with emotions and entertains the audience. Coming to Varasudu, Dil Raju and PVP are jointly bankrolling the project. Rashmika Mandhanna will be seen alongside Vijay.
